Princess Kate and Prince William ‘going through Hell’, says close confidante

Princess Kate and Prince William are reportedly “going through hell”, according to a close confidante of the couple.

Amaia Arrieta, who has worked with the Prince and Princess of Wales’ children, shared her fears in the wake of Kate’s cancer diagnosis back in March.

The princess has stepped back from her public-facing duties as she continues preventative chemotherapy for an undisclosed form of cancer.

As yet, there has been no further information as to when the Princess of Wales will return to public duties.

Princess Kate and Prince William are reportedly ‘going through Hell’, a close confidante has said

“I’m heartbroken at the moment, I think they are going through hell, I hope they will be back. It’s really personal,” Arrieta said.

The comments mark the first time the children’s clothing designer has spoken up about the family.

Arrieta, who has worked as a stylist for the family since Prince George was a baby, also opened up about her role.

The owner of her eponymous label Amaia, explained that finding appropriate wardrobe choices for the children filled her with “pride”.

The former royal stylist continued to tell the Telegraph: “Dressing the royals gives me so much pride, I really do care about how they look.”

Opening up on how she works closely with the children’s nanny, Maria Borrallo, Arrieta said her work is often done on “a very tight deadline”.

She added: “We would do anything for them … the children always look amazing in the end.”

One of Arrieta’s pieces was featured by the Royal Family just last week with Prince Louis sporting one of her shirts.

Kate released the “new unedited” photo of Prince Louis to mark his sixth birthday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the adorable new post, saying: “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”

In the photo, Louis wore a cute pinstriped shirt as he lay down on the grass at Adelaide Cottage.

The prince had his arms folded as he grinned into the camera lens.

The Prince and Princess of Wales broke tradition by not releasing a photograph of Prince Louis the night before his birthday, as done in previous years.
