On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Princess Charlotte’s ninth birthday by releasing a brand-new photo of their daughter.
Greetings on Princess Charlotte’s 9th birthday! The royals thanked “all of the kind messages today” on their official Instagram account, naming Princess Kate as the photographer.
Charlotte smiled at the camera while sporting a denim miniskirt, navy jumper and berry-colored cardigan from the Parisian fashion brand Cyrillus. She looked angelic in an outfit repeat from her closet. The chic young royal wore navy tights with her cosy knits, revealing a floral pie-crust blouse underneath.
Princess Charlotte’s absence from the spotlight this year due to her mother’s ongoing cancer treatment is undoubtedly felt by royal fans.
Throughout Princess Kate’s recuperation, the Wales family has maintained a low profile, so Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were not present at the yearly Easter service, where fans of the royal family usually get to see the kids.
Happy royal fans couldn’t stop praising Charlotte for looking exactly like Prince William in the latest picture, with many pointing out how much the young royal had matured since her last public appearance.
The Princess’s long hair, which cascaded down to her waist and generated a plethora of comments on social media, was the most striking aspect of her appearance.
“How long is Princess Charlotte’s hair? She has also matured. Every time we see these kids, they’ve come a long way since we last saw them,” an Instagram fan wrote.
“Princess Charlotte has her late grandmother’s long blonde hair!” added a royal fan on X, while someone else commented, saying, “What a lovely photo of Princess Charlotte.” She got her mother’s gorgeous hair.”
The sun seemed to have accentuated the young royal’s Rapunzel-esque hair, with honey blonde streaks illuminating the ends of her inherently curly locks.
The Princess flaunted her magnificently long angelic mane by wearing her hair straight and down. Princess Charlotte’s hair was last seen in person on Christmas Day, when she attended St. Mary Magdalene’s Church in Sandringham with her family.
