It seems that William and Harry are willing to “bury the hatchet.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been estranged from the rest of the Royal Family for some time, as the couple has been living in the United States since 2020. Some revelations made by them have not sat well with his brother, Prince William, his wife, Kate Middleton, and King Charles.
The potential reconciliation of Prince Harry with the Royal Family, particularly with his brother, Prince William, is a significant development. According royal expert and author Tom Quinn, Prince Harry is considering a step towards reconciliation, indicating his willingness to “bury the hatchet” with his brother.
It is reported that Prince William told Prince Harry to bring his children next time he and Meghan Markle visit the UK, likely next month at the Invictus Games. However, there is one final hurdle before they can ultimately resolve their differences.
Meghan Markle wants an apology.
Quinn mentions that Meghan Markle is seeking an apology from the Royal Family before she can move forward. Meanwhile, “until she feels that the Royal Family has been kind enough to her and has humbly apologized for the past, that won’t happen,” said Quinn.
In the past, Meghan Markle accused the Royal Family of making racist comments towards her and her unborn son Archie, questioning Prince Harry and Markle about “the color of the child’s skin” and making them feel uncomfortable.
Recent reports have revealed that Meghan Markle expressed concern about racist comments made by certain members of the royal family towards her and her son Archie. According to the reports, she raised these concerns with King Charles and shared the names of those who made the comments, emphasizing that Archie would be the first person of color in the family.
